It's A Boy!

Hi Stampers!

This card was made for my daughter's 3rd Baby Shower (1st child, 3rd Shower). Our little grandson, Anthony, is due in the next couple of weeks and I got busy today and make this card and envelope combo. The little boat and "It's a Boy!" on the card is from the Stampin' Up Set, Nursery Necessities. The color combo is Brocade Blue, Night of Navy, Whisper White, Green Galore and Kraft, all from Stampin' Up. The small piece of DP was from a paper pack I bought at Costco years ago.

For the envelope, I went ahead and hand cut the boat pieces, added some buttons and used my Cricut with Alphalicious cartridge to cut out "Anthony". My beautiful, useful, FUN Cricut Expression machine has sat idle in my craft room for probably a good year because I was "scared" to use it. After watching many excellent videos on YouTube by the Pink Stamper, RobynStamps, I blew off the dust and got busy. I love, Love, LOVE this machine! Stay tuned for some further examples of what the Cricut can do.

This card is so cute! (I'm wandering around the internet today looking at ink stamp sites, and came across this.) I love that it's not just blue blue blue, like most baby boy cards.
