Little Tree Boxes

Monday was Try a New Technique day over on the SplitcoastStampers site. This week it was Little Christmas Tree boxes. Really nice printable directions that make it easy to cut and assemble the boxes are provided by Brenda Quintana. After looking through the gallery, I started thinking this tree looked an awful lot like a hat, so I was going to make a hat party favor for a child's birthday. As I was choosing paper I ran across Stars and Stripes and decided to make a patriotic Christmas tree instead. These would make cute party favors for a 4th of July party too. The words, "Semper Fidelis" is a motto in the Marine Corp and means "Always Faithful". Take a looksie at all the other stampers work too and see what ingenious projects they came up with; teepees, ski slopes as well as a "forest" of other ideas.
