Baby Bella Card

I had the "day off" today and decided to sit down and create a card. The Bella Rose paper from Stampin' Up was out on my desk so I decided on a card using pinks and greens, my FAVORITE colors! My daughter's boss, Carly, is going to have a baby girl in a couple of months, so I decided to make her a card. The background is Pink Pirouette run through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss dots folder. It was lightly sponged with Riding Hood Red. Letters are corner rounded and lifted with pop dots on little scallop squares. Kiwi Green colored embroidery floss loops connect the letters to the scallop panel at the top. Then the knots were covered with pink Prima flowers, a small flower punch center in Riding Hood Red and a cute little Kiwi Kiss colored button. The "thread" in the button is actually very finely cut Riding Hood Red strips of paper that are fed through holes, criss-crossed and glued on the back. The top panel is made with layered Bella Rose paper. It is two sided paper so one sheet goes a long way and everything matches.
