Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #14 Round-up

Hi All!

I got a pretty late start because of the holiday, but I'm going to post this anyway. This card is for Kristine Werner's weekly color challenge and inspiration found here. When I saw the shirts that said "Make Cupcakes not War" my first thought was Love (hum, do you think I'm caught in the '70s?). I decided to make a nice love card that turned into an Anniversary card that I think my husband would LOVE! The Basic Gray all by itself was too boring so I used a stamp roller with the heart pattern in Craft White ink to jazz it up. That still wasn't enough so I stacked the heart image with hearts punched from River Rock and Ruby Red. Much better! The X and O were Cricut cut and then embossed with the Cuttlebug and "hitched" together with a Heart button punch and black ribbon. Behind them, I scored the gray piece again because it was just too boring otherwise. To "tie" it all together I did the stacked ribbon technique with black and river rock ribbon. The "Always Love You" is a G stamp from Michaels $1 acrylic stamps.
